About Us
The Gamma Chapter is located here at Texas A&M University. It was the fourth chapter started after Houston, Dallas, and Austin on May 20, 2001. It started with nine impressive individuals that had a dream in mind. They all looked forward to embracing the three major principals that adhere to Delta Epsilon Psi: brotherhood, discipline, and commitment. After being inducted into the Multicultural Greek Council the Gamma Chapter strengthened its influence across the Texas A&M University campus, by recruiting exceptional individuals into this fraternity. The members of the Gamma Chapter have become distinguished leaders in other organizations such as the Multicultural Greek Council, Student Government Assoication, Indian Students Association, Pakistani Student Association, and Orthodox Students Association just to name a few. Currently, we have eleven established classes and are always looking for individuals who want to make an impact, not only in the Indian community, but across the Texas A&M campus.
In promoting the South Asian community within the Texas A&M University Campus. The Gamma Chapter of Delta Epsilon Psi hosted one of the biggest events in Texas, Festival of India in 2007. FOI as known by so many people is a large culture event where Indians all over the state of Texas and beyond join together in a weekend to celebrate the great culture of India. Last year at the Texas A&M Campus, FOI was at its full force with a Miss FOI pageant, Talent Show, Basketball Tournament and an entertaining after party with a guest appearance by 112. We also were able to win chapter of the year in Delta Epsilon Psi, competing with our brothers around the nation.
